Hugs were great to get after the fright we got from the earthquake and helped everyone feel better! You were so good quickly being a turtle. It was great that everyone at school was safe.

I am pleased that you made a turtle even though you felt scared. That was very brave of you.

How lovely Mrs Woods was to give you a hug, the thing with hugs is that when one person gives you one you have to pass it on!

I am sure Mum was very pleased to see you and wasn’t it great to get to Nana’s house.

I am thinking of you lots Lucy and your family and friends, also sending you lots of hugs…that means you have to pass them on too.
